Sellita SW510 M
The hand-wound chronograph family: a different rear view and a different counter layout from the automatic 7750.
The M distinguishes Sellita's manual-winding SW510 from its automatic sibling. The referenced SW510 M a is a two-pusher chronograph, documented in Sellita's 2024–2025 catalogue with the specifications above. Do not borrow the automatic version's jewel count or reserve simply because its name is similar. Sellita catalogue, printed page 71.
Reading rather than decorating
A chronograph dial must keep ordinary time and elapsed time intelligible at once. The visual hierarchy is important: a small running-seconds hand confirms that the watch is running, while separate counters belong to the stopwatch. Three circles do not automatically make a functional chronograph, and their positions are not freely interchangeable decorations.
Manual winding changes the daily interaction too. There is no automatic rotor to replenish the mainspring from wrist movement. That is a different winding method, not a claim that the movement is inherently more accurate or more finely made.
In the atelier
The modeled arrangement uses the SW510 M a-style layout: elapsed minutes at 3, elapsed hours at 6, running seconds at 9 and the supported date aperture near 4:30. Other SW510 variants are not represented as interchangeable options. The manual rear view has no automatic rotor.
The rear retains its 30.00 mm reference diameter, with the larger outer flange included in the fit check; it is not capped to enter a smaller case. A separate holder supports the assembly. The source's 7.00 mm movement height is reserved independently from the decorative relief and hand stack, so a chronograph needs adequate depth as well as width. Front layouts remain original interpretations with fixed register positions, not stretched manufacturer parts. A case or face that cannot accommodate them is rejected. These are checked design proportions, not CAD fit validation.
The chronograph counters remain at rest; the pushers do not start, stop or reset a working timer. Reserve is reference text, not measured energy in the scene. The graphic is an illustrative mechanism, not a certified Sellita assembly or a manufacturing-ready watch.
